Most real estate agents will tell you they work hard. I’ll tell you something different: I know how to see.

I spent twenty years as a commercial photographer and producer — shooting celebrity portraits for Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Allure, Elle, and Marie Claire; producing campaigns for leading brands in entertainment and beauty; managing Amazon’s photo and design departments. What that work taught me, more than anything else, is how to walk into a space and understand what’s actually there: the quality of the light, the bones of the architecture, the story the space wants to tell. That’s not a former career. It’s how I look at everything, including your home.

Today I’m a Compass Realtor and West Side local, a partner at All of the Houses — the top boutique real estate team in Venice, formerly known as Team Tiffany Rochelle — and an LA Magazine Real Estate All Star in 2024, 2025 & 2026. I specialize in properties in West Los Angeles from $2M to $20M — Venice, Santa Monica, Mar Vista, Culver City, Brentwood, and the Pacific Palisades.

My clients tend to be creative professionals: people in entertainment, design, fashion, and the broader LA creative economy who have strong opinions about space and light and character — and who want to work with an agent who shares them. If you’re the kind of buyer who can see past a bad paint job to the bones underneath, or the kind of seller who cares deeply about how your home is presented to the world, we’ll work well together.

When you’re selling, my background means your listing looks better than the competition — because I understand, at a fundamental level, how to show a space. When you’re buying, it means you’re working with someone who can help you see what a property actually is, and what it could become.

A native New Yorker, I grew up in a 1902 beaux-arts building in an eccentric family of artists and lawyers — which probably explains why I’ve always paid close attention to how buildings are put together, and why I find equal satisfaction in the creative and contractual sides of a deal. I’ve lived in Mar Vista for years and am genuinely part of the neighborhood — you’ll find me at the farmers market most weekends, at the local coffee shops, and chances are I already know your neighbors. I live there with my wife, Fiona Stiles, and our teenager. When I’m not with clients, I’m shooting in my Venice studio, digging through record stores, or looking for the best places to camp in California with my family.

Let’s talk; I give honest opinions freely, and I always enjoy a good conversation about Los Angeles Real Estate.

Frequently Asked Questions

What areas do you work in? My primary focus is West Los Angeles — Venice, Santa Monica, Mar Vista, Brentwood, and the Pacific Palisades. I know these neighborhoods the way a resident knows them, which is the only way to know them well. I've closed deals in Pasadena, Silver Lake, and other parts of LA, and I'm happy to go where the right property is. But the Westside is where I live, where I work, and where I add the most value.

What price range do you work in? I specialize in properties from $1.8M to $20M. Most of my transactions are in the $2M to $6M range — single-family homes, mid-century moderns, architectural properties, and the occasional off-market find.

Do you work with buyers, sellers, or both? Both. About half my business is buyers, half sellers. The skills transfer in interesting ways — the same eye that helps a seller present their home well helps a buyer see past a bad presentation to what's actually there.

What makes your approach different from other agents? I spent twenty years as a commercial photographer and producer before I became a realtor — shooting for Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Allure, Elle, and Marie Claire, and producing for major entertainment and beauty brands. That background gives me two things most agents don't have: a trained eye for space, light, and architecture, and a producer's discipline for managing complex transactions. I'm not just looking at comparable sales. I'm looking at the bones.

Do you have access to off-market listings? Yes. Through Compass's Private Exclusive network, I have access to listings that never hit the public market. For buyers in competitive price ranges, this can make a meaningful difference. If you're looking for something specific — a Gregory Ain Tract home, a mid-century on the Westside, a quiet property in Mar Vista or Brentwood — it's worth having a conversation before you assume it doesn't exist.

You're also a photographer. Does that affect how you work? It shapes everything. When I'm listing a property, I understand at a fundamental level how to show a space — the light, the angle, the sequence of images that tells the right story. When I'm working with buyers, I help them see past the staging, the bad renovation, or the awkward listing photos to what's actually there. Twenty years of looking closely at things doesn't go away.

How do I get started? The first step is usually a conversation — no commitment, no pressure. I'm happy to give you an honest opinion on what your home might be worth, or to talk through what you're looking for as a buyer. Most of the best client relationships I've had started with someone who wasn't quite ready yet.
